Hjulmand & Kaptain provide legal services in matters concerning restriction and control of competition.
Companies’ trading and other business may be restricted both in Denmark and in the EU by rules and regulations on restriction of competition. Our services apply to competition rules both in Denmark and EU, other countries.
Anti-competitive agreements must basically be filed with the competition authorities in order to be binding. Companies having a dominant position on the market are subject to restrictions in their activities, and application for large mergers must be filed with the authorities.
Our services include i.a. the formation of contracts and handling of the company’s contact to competition authorities. Besides, our counselling comprises tenders of public contracts and services related to public outsourcing, including examination of tender documents and negotiation of contracts.
In addition to this, we provide services on control of competition, i.a. in relation to the Danish Marketing Practices Act. Our services in this connection comprise counselling to companies on programs of customers’ loyalty as well as bonus programs. Within the area of the Danish Marketing Practices Act we are also specialised in information technology.
