Hjulmand & Kaptain assists both companies and individuals in collecting financial claims based on matured invoices, mortgage deeds and other kinds of payment arrangements.
Hjulmand & Kaptain conducts lawsuits for the purpose of bailiff of collection proceedings before the sheriff’s court. Our lawyers are authorised to appear before the courts in the whole of Northern Jutland and have a profound knowledge of the debtors in the area.
Hjulmand & Kaptain is certified with Experian (previously called RKI Kredit) thus enabling an identification of our customers’ debtors in the database of the said agency.
Hjulmand & Kaptain has long experience in executing forced sales, primarily on behalf of holders of mortgages in real property, but also on behalf of customers with a charging order in a debtor’s real property upon collection proceedings before the court. We prepare particulars of sale for the purpose of forced sales, ensuring our customers such legal rights and counselling as required in connection with a forced sale.
As a part of any collection procedure, Hjulmand & Kaptain administers the debtor’s real property pursuant to the statutory provisions under the Danish Administration of Justice Act. Further, we may assist in taking possession of a debtor’s mortgaged property, which implies legal action against any income from such mortgage.
