Hjulmand & Kaptain offers legal services to individuals on all kinds of taxation issues.
We represent our customers in tax cases, both in administrative complaints and in legal proceedings before the ordinary courts of law. This could e.g. concern the taxation of profit, the right of deduction for losses on shares and bonds or the right of deduction for costs in connection with work performed, etc.
Hjulmand & Kaptain are regularly appearing in tax cases tried by the local tax administrations, the tax boards of appeal, the revenue offices, the Central Customs and Tax Administration, the Assessment Council, and the National Income Tax Tribunal. We are constantly dealing with tax cases tried by the ordinary courts of law.
In connection with the hearing of tax cases we have developed an expertise in white collar criminal law, enabling us to act as counsel for the defence in criminal cases or in offences under the Tax Control Act.
Our knowledge on tax affairs issues has further contributed to position of trust in the tax committee under the Danish Bar and Law Society, and our lawyers are often used as educators by the Danish Bar and Law Society, the Institute of State Authorized Public Accountants and others.
